Welcome to the South Devon Chilli Farm

Firstly we hope you like our new website. The last one stood us in good stead for nearly 5 years but it needed updating and we hope these new pages will be more user friendly and make for a better and easier shopping experience.

The South Devon Chilli Farm started in 2003 and has grown steadily to the point where we now grow over 10,000 chilli plants every year and harvest tons of fresh chillies which we sell fresh or use in our range of chilli sauces, preserves and chilli chocolate.

Our farm and shop are open for visitors and as such we are unique in this country. Nowhere else can you come along and wander among the fruiting chilli plants, sample all of the sauces, preserves and chocolate made on the farm and take away chilli seedlings, plants and seeds.

We are open from 10-4 seven days a week, except for weekends between Christmas and Easter when we are closed. As well as the things we make we also have fresh chillies for sale from July to November and also sell dried and smoked chillies.

You may also see our products for sale in farm shops and delicatessens near you. We are expanding beyond our loyal outlets in the West Country to supplying shops nationwide.

Our rise to fame has been well documented in the media with numerous features in national newspapers as well as TV appearances on BBC Gardeners World, BBC Country File, ITV, West Country TV and UKTV Food. We are also recommended by Jamie Oliver as a supplier of chillies. Jamie says "As you know I am a Chilli freak and these guys grow the best in the country".

Tom Parker-Bowles, food writer and confirmed chilli lover has also recommended our products in his regular Mail on sunday Column.

Feel free to browse around our site and learn more about us, we hope you find it rewarding.

Visit the Farm

We are generally open to visitors every day from 10-4pm. Our shop sells all our usual preserves plus a few seasonal extras together with fresh chillies from July to November. You are welcome to wander around the farm, see the chillies growing and look through our show tunnel where around 100 varieties of chilli can be seen. We also have a wide range of potted chilli plants for sale from Easter to November, from seedlings to larger fruiting plants.
