He was such good fun
It occurs to me that the Gordon R programme is the Top Gear of cookery TV (although not to be taken as a complete endorsement of TG, as GR is a deal more charming than JC )

I watched the last in the series of the F Word programme tonight; was very enjoyable.
I liked the way he put the turkey stuffing in between the skin and the meat of the turkey, to ensure the breast meat was not dried out. Obviously it must have helped that his stuffing had truffle in it!
I loved the look on his face when Sharon Osbourne (she gets everywhere, doesn't she!? No doubt this will continue as Ozzy has obviously pulled the plug on the domestic LA series) carefully stage managed her choosing HughF-W's dessert over his - he was mortified! I really had to
Something else I've just noticed from the tv guide that I hadn't really twigged on the programme - the turkeys he'd got his three kids to hand-rear (and he had them "saying goodbye to" as they went in the oven!!!) had pet names given to them. (amazingly the kids weren't even tearful when asked what their fave turkey tasted like! Bizarre).
And the turkey's pet names were: Jamie, Nigella, Delia, Ainsley, Antony, and Gary .......(Gary? what happened to him )
Repeated Saturday at 8pm.

Brilliant series, tbh. I especially love how the guests' efforts have been voted better than Gordon's pretty regularly.

If I were Rick Stein right now I'd not know whether to feel relieved or left out

And the new series of the F word features.....his two new pigs, kept in the back garden! I wonder what his Chelsea neighbours think of that! (if it's Chelsea he lives in). But even better than the Chef-named Turkeys - the pigs are called Trinny & Susannah!

I loved the way he asked of the kids, "who wants to clean up the (pig) poo?" Hands shoot in the air - "Me!!11"
I loved the way he got really fed up with the recruited odd-jobs in his kitchen and showed some real venom - " Call me Gordon - I'm not your f***ing mate" Obviously the producers know they get the best TV out of GR when he's dealing with incompetants. And next week - ni will love this - he's got Clarkson on, cooking lobsters No doubt they'll find an inventive challenge to humanely kill the lobster in a TV-different-kinda way - like sending it sleep by choking on SLR exhaust fumes...
